Anton Alvarez - Arts and crafts
Anton Alvarez is an artist and designer with education from the Royal College of Art in London. He works at the intersection of engineering and traditional craftsmanship, creating sculptural works using proprietary machinery and production processes. His work combines the precision of the engineer with the freedom of the artist, raising questions of origin, method and materiality. The tools become an extension of the artist's body and part of the work itself. Alvarez has exhibited internationally and received much attention for his ability to push the boundaries of both form and function in contemporary craft.
Moa Romanova - Graphic design and illustration
Moa Romanova is a cartoonist and artist based in Stockholm. She is educated at the Gothenburg School of Art and the Series School in Malmö. Her art combines a personal narrative with a strong visual expression, often with humor and seriousness in autobiographical or social commentary themes. She made her debut in 2018 with the acclaimed graphic novel Always fuck up, which has been translated into several languages and won the Eisner Award, among others. Romanova works extensively in illustration, digital storytelling and art projects, and has collaborated with the likes of Adidas and Vivienne Westwood. Her work moves between the artistic and the commercial with a distinct, individual voice.
Daniel Rybakken - Furniture
Daniel Rybakken Rybakken is a furniture designer, educated in design at HDK in Gothenburg. He founded his studio in Sweden in 2008 and has since established himself as one of Scandinavia's most internationally acclaimed designers. Rybakken collaborates with leading brands such as Luceplan, Artek, Vitra, Karimoku, Vibia and HAY, as well as in industrial design with players such as Panasonic and Givenchy. He has also been artistic director of lighting design at Volvo/Polestar.Polestar. In 2014 he became the first Scandinavian designer to receive the Compasso d'Oro, Italy's most prestigious design award - an honor he was awarded again in 2016. He has also been awarded the Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize and named by Wallpaper* as one of the world's top 20 designers under 40.
Ulrika Knagenhielm-Karlsson - Architecture
Ulrika Knagenhielm-Karlsson is an architect and professor at KTH School of Architecture, and one of the founders of Brrum. Her work is at the intersection of architecture, technology and artistic research, with a focus on developing methods to take care of what already exists - buildings, knowledge and ecosystems. She has exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale, ArkDes and Bonniers Konsthall. She has been a professor at Konstfack, a visiting professor at Städelschule in Frankfurt and the University of Tokyo and exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Centre Pompidou and ArkDes.. Her artistic research has been funded by Formas and the Swedish Research Council, among others. Karlsson holds a degree in architecture from Columbia University and a degree in landscape architecture from SLU.
Hampus Berggren - Fashion and textiles
Hampus Berggren is a fashion designer based in Paris. He was educated at Central Saint Martins in London where he received both his BA and MA in Fashion Menswear. After graduating, he worked for eight years at Alexander McQueen under Sarah Burton. Since 2022 he has been working as Senior Menswear Designer at Maison Margiela under John Galliano and currently works at Louis Vuitton i Pharrell Williams' menswear team. In addition to his work in fashion houses, he has been a guest lecturer at Central Saint Martins and Parsons Paris, where he shares his expertise with the next generation of designers.
Jenny Nordberg - Industrial design
Jenny Nordberg is an industrial designer based in Malmö with an MFA in Industrial Design. She runs her own studio with an interdisciplinary and exploratory approach, questioning contemporary design ideals and seeking alternative methods to irresponsible mass production. Her work moves between conceptual experiments and strategic commissions, often with manufacturing companies that have sustainability ambitions. Nordberg combines her studio production with commercial and artistic projects, and works to develop the role of design as a tool for change and reflection. Her practice is characterized by both social engagement and material sensibility.
