About Form magazine
Form is the world's oldest, still active, magazine on design. Form is bilingual (Swedish and English) and is published four times a year - March, June, September and December - by Mandelgren Magazine, owned by the Swedish Design Association.
The origin of Form is the newsletter Meddelandenfrån SvenskaSlöjdföreningen, which was published between 1884-1904 by Svenska Slöjdföreningen. The newsletter contained articles on design throughout history, reports on exhibitions and products in Sweden and abroad, as well as the association's affairs. In 1905, the newsletter was turned into a magazine with the title SvenskaSlöjdföreningenstidskrift and in 1932 the title was changed to Form. Today, just as then, Form covers design, craftsmanship and its related artistic areas and presents the association's various affairs. As before, the geographical focus is not only on Sweden but also on the Nordic countries, with a wider international outlook.
