Svensk Form Väst works to stimulate, develop and influence form/design development in our region and promote West Swedish design internationally.

We organize inspirational trips, lectures and projects to help active designers in Västra Götaland to network and enable visibility in different arenas locally, nationally and internationally. As part of this, we run SPOK Västra Götaland (Samtida Konsumtion och Produktion), a platform for production that aims to gather and disseminate knowledge about local manufacturing opportunities, from crafts to industry. So that designers can more easily find local partners.

During 2023 - 2024, together with FORM & folk, we ran DES&DO! where 14 teams of mold practitioners and manufacturers from Västra Götaland together created and developed completely new innovative products. In 2024, the results were showcased through a traveling exhibition at the following locations:

Röhsska musset, Gothenburg
CØR Studio, Paris Design Week
Skytteln, Linköping, East Sweden Design Days
Form/Design Center, Malmö

Our base is at Föreningsgatan 2 in Gothenburg.
