Annual meeting and tour of the glass houses in Kosta

It's time forthe annual meeting, andwe invite you to a tour of the Bruno Mathsson houses in Kosta in connection with the annual meeting on Sunday, March 22.

The townhouses were built as staff housing for the Kosta glassworks and were completed in 1956. After the glassworks sold off its housing stock in the late 1980s, the houses fell into disrepair but were saved after compulsory purchase and subsequent restoration. The houses were listed as historic buildings in 2006 and reopened last year after the apartments were furnished with period furniture and can now be booked through Kosta Art Hotel.

We begin with the annual meeting, where we summarize the past year, discuss the future, and elect a board.
Afterwards, there will be time for coffee and a tour. Maja Sjöberg, who participated in the redesign, will show and talk about the work. Britt-Marie Börjesgård will provide background information about the buildings and Bruno Mathsson as an architect.

In order to order refreshments, we need to receive yourregistration by March 20 at the latest. Please alsolet us know if you have any special dietary requirements. The tour and refreshments are free for members. If you would like to bring someone who is not a member, the tour and refreshments cost SEK 50.
