Swedish Mold Västerbotten: Peder Nyström

Motivation:
Nothing is carved in stone! Peder Nyström has been a stove maker for 30 years. He reflects, innovates, designs and trains. For an ancient craft to survive, it takes courage to challenge and the ability to renew and preserve at the same time. This is Peder Nyström's hallmark. Tile kiln making is quality-sensitive and masonry is done with few tools: hammer, trowel and bare hands. Between the kiln and the tools is the craftsman's creativity, the ability to overcome the limitations of the tools and solve the unexpected in the process. Peder Nyström brings to life the excellent motto "good design for a better life".
