Justification:
With over 60 years of combined experience, MOKK - Monika Strand and Chris White - combine craftsmanship, curiosity and exploration. They design and produce ceramics in close collaboration with clients such as Arctic Bath, Tree Hotel, Volvo Cars, Luleå Hockey and Akenberg, and generously share their knowledge through courses and tutorials. Chris White has also competed successfully in the Nordic Woodturning Championships. Based on tradition and technique, Monika Strand and Chris White interpret Norrbotten in contemporary form, with material sensitivity, precision and creative sharpness.
