Regulatory framework
In the project Regelverk I have designed a series of furniture made of recycled wooden studs from the construction industry. By refining this residual material, I want to show that recycled design can combine aesthetics and functionality. My goal has been to create beautiful and sustainable wooden furniture without cutting down a single tree.
Jury motivation
A project involving the reuse of wooden beams. Waste from the construction industry, usually burned, is given new life in a sofa with soft shapes. Knot marks and defects in the wood, usually rejected in furniture production, in this case enhance the design and show the properties of wood as a living material.
