Attention! Ongoing Care
My contribution consists of a method and a design exercise in what care in architecture can be and how it can be expressed in maintenance in a situation with limited resources. Based on Farsta IP's conditions, I propose a workshop that becomes an expression of how we can challenge the process and the view of repairs.
Jury Motivation:
Anyone who has visited a sports ground has often had to reflect on the concept of maintenance debt. In this challenging project, repair, management and practical work become the starting point for spatial investigations. The workshop as a place of renewal and change, with hyper-realistic images that both celebrate everyday architecture and point to a new direction for spatial creation.
