Svensk Form Gotland: m.arkitektur & Studio Lomakka

Motivation:
The collaboration between m.arkitektur and Studio Lomakka has shown how different disciplines can lift each other to new levels. Together they have created several projects with Gotland materials and local craftsmen where Lomakka's design in wool is integrated into m.arkitektur's sensitive architecture. By collaborating early in the creative process, the wool in the form of, for example, absorbers, interior walls or fixed furnishings is as natural a part of the architecture as the house's light intake, climate shell or spatial layout. Elements that cannot be compromised.

For their collaboration and ambassadorship for Gotland design, m.arkitektur together with Studio Lomakka is therefore the Shape Bearer of the Year 2024.
