My project Soft Soft is about masculinity and emotions, exploring how social expectations limit men's ability to show vulnerability. Through the publication and accompanying artworks, I have created a personal narrative that provides insight into a world where only muscles and engines are allowed to cry.
Jury motivation
The project explores masculinity and emotions in a tactile and innovative way. It is incredibly well conceptualized and executed, and the passion is evident in every detail. With disarming humor, the artist opens up a vulnerable dialogue about gender, identity, and mental health.
