Transpositions
Transpositions is a series of luminaires made from scrapped fluorescent reflectors. I am interested in overlooked objects, badly positioned in a cultural hierarchy. As a designer, I want to renegotiate the position of materials and transform them into new objects that are allowed to transcend their origin.
Jury Motivation:
A series of luminaires made from discarded fluorescent reflectors, a good example of the reuse of materials in public environments categorized as trash. The new design is inventive and surprises with its clear function and elegant form. "The 'trash' is thus given a valuable new life and encourages reflection.
