CYBER RAY
I explore the optical and sculptural possibilities of glass. Using hand-blown glass and neon, I create forms where light is refracted, reflected, and distorted. CYBER RAY becomes a synthesis of structure and collapse—a pulsating window into the light of the future.
Jury motivation
If one could capture the moment when a dream of the future is born in our consciousness, it would probably look just like this. Sculptural glass poetry made of expressive glass and neon-filled glass tubes. The encounter between the neon light and its distorted mirror image creates a visual universe that is impossible to take your eyes off – while at the same time making you question whether what you are seeing is reality, digital illusion or a dream.
