Swedish Style celebrates 25 years!
Swedish Style 25th anniversary party at Shibaura House
We celebrate 25 years of Swedish Style with a festive evening bringing together Swedish participants and Japanese friends, with drinks and snacks.
A big thank you to our partners: The Swedish Embassy, Shibaura House, Omnipollo, Norrbottens Destilleri, Askul and Stockholm Design Lab.
The evening will also be a kick-off for the December Woodlife project at Shibaura House.
About Swedish Style
It all started in Tokyo at the turn of the millennium, when Swedish Style put Sweden on the Japanese design map. Now we're celebrating our 25th anniversary and returning with new energy!
Swedish Style is led by Svensk Form in collaboration with the Swedish Institute, the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo, Business Sweden, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and long-standing Japanese partners.
This year's focus is on design and export promotion, with the main effort during DesignArt Tokyo October 31-November 9, and more activities in November-December. The aim is to establish long-term collaborations and make Swedish Style a recurring event.
