Design bar: Newly graduated, now what?

What are the paths into the design industry like today?
The government's strategy for cultural and creative industries sets out the ambition for Sweden to strengthen its position as a leading country in this field. At the same time, many young designers find it difficult to establish themselves in their profession, despite the fact that these industries employ nearly 200,000 people.
During tonight's Design Bar, we will discuss how needs and skills can be better matched. What jobs are available today, what skills are being taught, and what paths are open to newly graduated designers?
The evening begins with a discussion about the key issues of the future in the field of design, followed by a joint workshop where we delve deeper into possible ways forward.
