IKEA - work scholarship

Ikea offers one of the nominees in Young Swedish Design a working scholarship at Ikea of Sweden for five months. The work scholarship includes both salary and paid accommodation on site in Älmhult.

Kvadrat - exhibition grant

Kvadrat awards a scholarship that consists of a sum of money and the opportunity to make an exhibition in Kvadrat's showroom in Stockholm.

Röhsska Museum and Dynamo West - working grant

Through employment at the Röhsska Museum with partners from the Dynamo West network, the scholarship holder is given insight into how designers can play key roles in the work with the public environment. Collaboration with a young designer and their artistic practice shows great potential to practically build knowledge, develop methods and processes that are relevant to the goals and ambitions of the policy for the designed living environment. The grant is co-financed with the Administration for Cultural Development, Region Västra Götaland

Stockholm Furniture fair - exhibition grant

The scholarship includes access to a stand of its own in the Greenhouse during the well-attended Stockholm Furniture Fair.

Foundation for the Promotion of the Tanning Industry - travel grant

All members of Ung Svensk Form and a number of new members are invited to a workshop trip to a tannery in Sweden. It is possible to apply for two working grants of 3-5 days of SEK 20,000 each.

String prototype - prototype grant

The grant includes a cash sum and the opportunity to develop a prototype into a finished product, as well as to participate in String Furniture's stand at one of the upcoming major furniture fairs.

Swedish Wood - travel grant

The scholarship holders are offered a four-day inspirational and knowledge trip through central Sweden. During the trip, they will learn about the importance of forests and the interaction throughout the value chain.
