Member Trip with Svensk Form Västernorrland
Hello, Svensk Form members!
As we hinted at before the summer, it’s time for this year’s members’ trip! This time, we’ll be visiting Härnösand, the new National Archives, and the Hernö Gin Hotel.
On Tuesday, September 15, we’ll meet at 4:00 p.m. at the short side of Kulturmagasinet, facing Ica, to depart for Härnösand. If anyone would like to be picked up in Härnösand, we can meet at Gulf at 4:45 p.m.; please indicate this on your registration form. From 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., we’ll take a guided tour of the new National Archives building at Saltvikshöjden, focusing on the interior design and decor. Afterward, we’ll head down to the Hernö Gin Hotel, where we’ll have dinner—which we’ve pre-booked—around 6:30 p.m. Following dinner, we’ll take a guided tour of the hotel, where we’ll again focus on the interior design and architecture. We expect to be back at Kulturmagasinet around 9:00 p.m.
The registration deadline is September 8.
Dinner must be pre-ordered and paid for at cost; please indicate on the registration form if you would like:
Northern Swedish Caesar Salad 255 SEK
With baked & grilled chicken, hot-smoked pork loin, croutons, Parmesan,
romaine lettuce & a dressing made with Västerbottensost cheese & capers.

Made with Swedish peas and flavored with corn and carrot. Served with deep-fried
new potatoes, chimichurri, roasted asparagus broccoli, lemon-baked grilled pointed cabbage, and baked tomato.

Meat Sandwich 275 SEK
On butter-fried sourdough bread with spice-roasted chicken thigh, hot mayonnaise with
green pepper & jalapeño, lettuce, pickled silver onions, fried red onions, salted cucumber, and grated Swedish hard cheese. Served with French fries & dip.
