The Form Exhibition in Luleå

Formslaget 2026 – We’re celebrating this year’s Formbärare in Norrbotten!

On October 6, Formslaget is celebrated across the country as part of a long-standing tradition—Svensk Form’s anniversary and a day when we celebrate form, design, and architecture throughout Sweden.

During the evening, Svensk Form Norrbotten will present the 2026 Design Leader of the Year in Norrbotten award. The award is given to an individual, organization, or company that, in various ways, plays an important role in the development of the field of design in its region.

Formslaget will be celebrated on October 6 for a special reason. It was on this very day in 1845 that the Swedish Handicraft Association—the organization that later became Svensk Form— was founded. This year, we’ll celebrate together at Ebeneser in Luleå —with mingling, food and drinks, and, of course, birthday cake!
